In a powerful demonstration of compassion and community action, donors across the Lake Washington School District (LWSD) came together to erase school meal debt for graduating seniors—surpassing the $15,000 goal in just a few days.
Through a partnership between the Lake Washington Schools Foundation (LWSF) and the Lake Washington School District, the campaign launched with one clear message: every student deserves to graduate with pride, not the weight of unpaid meal balances. Whether you joined us in person or supported from afar, we’re grateful for your connection. Be the Bridge Spring Benefit was a special celebration of LWSF’s 20th anniversary—a meaningful evening filled with community, connection, and impact. We shared stories about the Foundation’s beginnings, highlighted Pantry Packs and other programs that support local students and families, and added a few fun new touches this year, including a silent auction, photo booth, welcome bubbles, and live music from a talented high school student.
