Be the Bridge Raises $230,000 for LWSD Students

For the first time since 2019, community members filled the ballroom at the Seattle Marriott Redmond for the Lake Washington Schools Foundation’s Be the Bridge spring benefit. Backed by a generous matching donor pool, attendees and sponsors together raised an unprecedented $230,000 to fund LWSF’s mission to enhance academic access and nurture all students’ emotional well-being in the Lake Washington School District (LWSD).

Local Teen Fights Injustice with Children's Books

Lake Washington Schools Foundation (LWSF) is honored to provide a $2,000 grant to Kai Vanderlip, a junior student at Tesla STEM High School, for his work in educating young students about the civil rights violations against American citizens of Japanese descent in during World War II. This year marks the 80th anniversary of the Day of Remembrance.

LWSF Announces Reach For Success Grant Recipients For 2019-2020
