Lake Washington Schools Foundation Welcomes Four New Members to Its Board of Trustees

Lake Washington Schools Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of four new Trustees to provide strategic leadership and direction in keeping with the organization’s mission: to gather and deploy community resources to enhance academic access and to nurture all students' emotional well-being in the Lake Washington School District. Mindy Lincicome, Joan Krona, Theresa Demeter, and Jen O’Donnell join 9 other members currently serving on the Lake Washington Schools Foundation Board of Trustees.

Lake Washington Schools Foundation welcomes students back in person and launches Fall Campaign to address specific individual and family needs throughout the district. With community support, Lake Washington Schools Foundation has helped students and families stay fed, informed, connected and mentally healthy during the pandemic. In this time of community health and economic uncertainty it is imperative that we work together to support our young people and their families.

Lake Washington Schools Foundation April 29 Event To Reveal Pandemic Impacts & Look Ahead To Future

When the pandemic hit and schools closed to in-person learning last spring, Lake Washington Schools Foundation (LWSF) had to make major changes to its programs and services. With a traditional reliance on in-school systems and personnel, the operations of programs like Pantry Packs and LINKS had to be reconfigured to meet the unique demands of remote learning life.

LWSF Announces Reach For Success Grant Recipients For 2019-2020

The school year ended on an exciting note as the Lake Washington Schools Foundation announced its grant recipients for the 2019/2020 school year. The Lake Washington Schools Foundation has pledged more than $350,000 in classroom grants and district-wide programming funding to support students, families, and teachers in the coming academic year.
