Mental Health Events in Schools

To support student wellness in engaging and accessible ways, the Foundation provides funding for a variety of on-campus mental health awareness events at our high schools.

Mental Health Awareness Week at Evergreen Middle School

High school is a time of growth and discovery—but it can also be marked by academic pressures, social challenges, and emotional stress. Developed in close collaboration with high school counselors and staff, on-campus mental health awareness events are designed to foster connection, reduce stigma, and equip students with tools to care for themselves and others.

Among the most popular activities are interactive “Spin the Wheel” mental health trivia games, where students answer questions about stress, self-care, and emotional well-being in exchange for small prizes. Schools also host snack distribution events featuring thoughtful mental health messages, combining nourishment with positive reminders and encouragement. Funding also supports dynamic assemblies that bring in mental health professionals and motivational speakers to share stories, strategies, and hope. Together, these initiatives cultivate a culture of openness, understanding, and proactive care throughout the school community.
