Current Needs

Committee Members

Currently the LWSF has three committees needing volunteers. Committees are the front-line of the LWSF and serve to perform the day-to-day operations of the foundation.
Program Committee
The Program Committee conducts needs assessments, informs the board of the results of these and then develops programs that are aligned with the strategic plan of the board. The program committee is actively seeking volunteers to review grant applications, assist in the evaluation of programs, and participate in the development of program priorities for the next 3 to 5 years. If you are interested in these areas, please email us at info@lwsf.org and put "Program Committee" in the Subject header. Your email will be forwarded to the Program Committee Chair.

Resource Development Committee
The Resource Development Committee plans house parties, special events, mailings, and other fundraising activities to support the strategic plan of the board. If you throw an amazing party, know people, and like to be out there, let us know-we need you! Please email us at info@lwsf.org and put "Resource Development Committee" in the Subject header. Your email will be forwarded to the Fundraising Committee Chair.

Communications/PR Committee
The Communications Committee advises the LWSF on how to best "get the word out". We need PR specialists, media gurus, designers, and writers to join us and help us present a united and cohesive voice to the community. Experience is not required; just a desire to work in these areas.  Please email us at info@lwsf.org and put "Communications Committee" in the Subject header.
